This area is the officially designated red-light district, it is notoriously known as Singapore's main red light district. This area is also well known to the local for good food and fruit shops. The streets will transform at night with garish neon lights and red lanterns signifying houses of pleasure. This is as close as you can get to the alternative side of Singapore.
